Who I Am
Hi, my name is Reagan Clo. I’m an engineer at NASA who’s very passionate about the future of space travel and exploration. While working at the Kennedy Space Center, I have had the privilege of learning about all sorts of new and interesting companies currently trying to innovate on the space frontier. From asteroid mining, and commercial space stations, to lunar space elevators and faster than light travel, the future of space is one that is as exciting as it is unpredictable. Unfortunately, many of the companies fail to reach their goal, mainly due to a lack of funding. Even when a tech company is able to raise hundreds of millions of dollars in starter capital, if they can’t turn a profit in a few years, they are forced to declare bankruptcy and close their doors.
So why can’t these companies turn a profit?
Primarily, the timeframe needed to create innovative, world changing products is still far too long even for the amount of capital raised. Whether we like it or not, money is a necessary motivator for industrial progress.
The future of space travel is far more important than some short term profits.
So I asked myself, “How can I help invest in these ventures and help ensure their survival?”
After extensive research I’ve concluded that the most effective way of doing this is to create a real estate portfolio with a consistent and stable source of income to fund private companies, including for-profits and nonprofits, who desire to create new and experimental technology. Currently I have 3 properties. However, this is just the start of my adventure into the world of real estate business.
My goal is also to provide a transparent look into my real estate journey, to offer any insight and knowledge I gain, and to share my successes and failures along the way as I work towards growing my business. I’ll also be discussing any new interesting technology that I come into contact with.
If advancements in space travel or an in-depth look into a developing real estate company seem interesting to you, then I would highly suggest checking out my youtube channel Rockets and Real Estate, and the newsletter that these episodes are based on, which will be linked in the description. Thank you for your support, and welcome to Rockets and Real Estate.
